Having nice, quality items can improve a child’s learning, happiness, and self-esteem. Your donations can support play, education, or comfort in tough times. This program was created in consideration of children and families in underserved communities who need basic resources or comforting gifts.
How it works
You’ll collect lightly-used items such as toys, school supplies, books, or tools that can be donated to those in need. Donations go to children’s shelters, education centers, or community charities. This program is a great option if you prefer to give materially rather than through hands-on tasks.
How we count hours
​As a reminder, each of our programs tracks volunteer hours in its own unique way. For this program, here’s how hours will be counted:

Inappropriate donations: Will result in a 1 hour deduction and item return.

Hour Calculation: Every 2 new, approved items counts as 1 volunteer hour.

Donation Requirements: All items must be brand new, safe, and age-appropriate.
