Preem Sittimalakorn

I want to be part of this nonprofit organization because I believe that mental health is an important topic that needs more awareness and understanding. I enjoy using digital art as a tool for emotional articulation and sending off messages that are beneficial to the society. I want to contribute to the betterment of the mental state of people by making them feel supported, understood and less alone through my illustrations. 

 

As an individual with a perceived interest in nursing major, I see the importance of caring for physical and mental health. I believe these  principles are key in healthcare, and this organization allows me a chance to understand and to sound these values through creative means. As an illustrator for this nonprofit, I would be able to nurture my artistic skills and also empower other people and bring about a positive change in my society.
